2 What is personal data?

4.4 Cookies

Our newsletter provides you with news and practical tips on the topics of communication, sales and leadership as well as on AVANSA International and its partner companies. You can register for our newsletter on our website. To do this, we collect your e-mail address and your first and last name. It is not possible to send you our newsletter without providing this data
We only send newsletters on the basis of the consent of the recipients, which you give by subscribing to our newsletter. The logging of the registration process, the use of a mailing service provider and the performance of statistical surveys and analyses are based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
You can revoke your consent to the newsletter service at any time for the future. To do so, either use the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter or send us an e-mail to praxistipp@avansa.eu.
Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. After registering, you will therefore receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to prevent registration with third-party email addresses. We log the registrations for the newsletter in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with the legal requirements. This includes the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address. We also log changes to your data.
We send our newsletters using “MailChimp”, a newsletter distribution platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
Your personal data (in particular e-mail address, first and last name) is stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and analyze the newsletter on our behalf. We use these evaluations to recognize the reading habits of our users and to improve the content of our newsletters accordingly. We do not monitor individual users. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services.

4.6 Contact form
If you contact us via the contact form on our website, by e-mail or by telephone, we process the personal data you provide (name, telephone number, e-mail address and your inquiry or the associated documents) for the purpose of processing your inquiry and, in the event of follow-up questions, to fulfil (pre-)contractual obligations or on the basis of legitimate interests.
